Previously at NAVA...
- NAVA went into battle and came out as warriors.
- The arcade challenge was COMMANDO. The high score winner was Henry-Michael, scoring 38,500 on the day and earning the coveted "arcade champion" $20 gift certificate.
- The 6pm tournament was COMBAT for Atari 2600. "Mezzmeres” was our champion, walking off with a red hot $20 gift certificate.
- Gamers, collectors and friends shared their recent adventures and sold or traded their goods.

In This Month's NAVA: August may be coming to an end, but the summer is just starting at Digital Press. We’re dedicating an entire NAVA event to the sun, surf, and sand of summer-themed videogames! Dive right into the cool competition of our tournament, soak in the sun of a CRT, or just simply enjoy the tropical vibes of our party. There’s no adult swim all night and no lifeguard on duty, so watch out for sharks! 

Arcade Challenge: Grab your tube and hit the rapids in Atari’s TOOBIN’, the wild arcade classic where speed, skill, and chaos collide! Dodge obstacles, battle the current, and race your way downstream before the river gets the best of you. Put up the best score on this game by 9pm and win a nifty $20 gift certificate. Arcade challenge games are set to FREE PLAY all day, but please remember to let everyone get a shot. If you get the high score, move on, and no hogging the game! Also if you have won last month’s arcade challenge you are not eligible to win this month’s challenge.

6PM Tournament: Take the waves in WAVE RACE: BLUE STORM for the Nintendo Gamecube! Grab your jetski and crush your opponents in this fast-paced and challenging racing game. The water may be cool, but the competition will be red hot, so bring your A-game to claim the championship! Sign-ups begin at 3pm, the tournament starts at 6pm in this first-come, first-served and as always at NAVA, FREE-to-join tournament. Winners receive a $20 gift certificate!

Remember, you can bring a box or two of your trade goodies. We'll help you administer sales and get you set up somewhere in the store to sell your goods, there is no charge for this perk, NAVA is the time for trading!
